YOUR ROLE
Acts as a liaison between sales, account management, operations and the customer for assigned accounts to ensure the customer's processes and procedural requirements are followed and that shipments are handled in accordance with established procedures, ISO operational compliance and specific customer requests. Prepares customer specific reports on a timely basis and handles customer operational escalations. Also supports spot quotes and supports the GKAM/RKAM in managing RFQ’s. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Maintain a consistently high level of customer service to both external and internal customers.
- Provide day-to-day contact with clients on operational and customer service issues.
- Coordinate customer service efforts from all offices and departments involved with assigned accounts.
- Maintain Customer specific Sharepoints and keep documentation up to date.
- Run timely KPI reporting for assigned accounts and support the preparation of MBR/QBR’s
- Responsible for the Escalation path on delayed key milestone updates within CEVA stations
- Support GKAM/ RKAM in RFQ’s and and ratecard updates An important aspect is the handling of spot quote requests that results in extra business for CEVA
- Perform other duties as assigned
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Degree qualified or equivalent MBO
- Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in forwarding or 4PL industry
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications Ability to create reports based on system generated data
DESIRABLE
- Experience in working with large multi-national accounts
- Requires an in-depth knowledge of the company's freight management products and services. Analytical skills
