Finance Operations Administrator | Rosedale AUK

YOUR ROLE


The Finance Operations Administrator at our Rosedale offices, is responsible for providing comprehensive Inventory Control and Trial Balance (TB) reporting, including billing for one of our customer contracts. This role also serves as a backup for Accounts Receivable (AR) and manages part of the Purchase Order (PO) process.


WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?


Specifically, you will:
 

 

  • Generate and distribute daily reports, including Weighted Average Cost (WAC), Shipment, and Revenue Reports
  • Update shipping files, process Works Orders, make WAC corrections, and review cost variances
  • Perform weekly Goods Received Not Invoiced (GRNl) / Accounts Payable reconciliations and journals, and update Item Master
  • Prepare monthly revenue accruals, compile reporting packs, and prepare 3PL Invoices, including obtaining Purchase Orders (PO) from our customer
  • Reconcile General Ledger (GL) vs ESN files, manage returns analysis, MSCA controls, wash-up charges, and handle month-end accruals, prepayments, and other CLS reports
  • Address ad hoc requests from our customer for WAC changes, sale price updates, and general queries
  • Extract JDE process data for inventory and cycle count adjustments
  • Raise and submit POs in APOC, including invoice coding
  • Perform specific GL reconciliations and assist the Finance team in meeting reporting deadlines
  • Support the AR team during busy periods.


WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 


Our ideal candidate has experience working as an inventory controller or assistant account in a medium-large sized business together with:
 

 

  • NCEA Level 3 or equivalent
  • Competent in MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
  • Effective planning, prioritization skills, and proven ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Collaborative team player with a flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • Bonus: tertiary / vocational qualification in accounting, finance or related.


In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
