YOUR MISSIONS
As a Ship Operations Planner, you will be responsible for assisting the operational staff in managing the handling of ships. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing loading and unloading lists in advance using terminal software.
- Formatting the ship's loading and unloading plans based on received computer files.
- Demonstrating the sequential and functional order of ship handling operations.
- Updating the plan and providing instructions to foremen/forewomen as operations progress.
- Monitoring the smooth running of operations.
- Preparing various port call reports and billing for operations.
- Tracking goods to be transshipped.
- Verifying and correcting information on goods to be handled.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
You will be a key player in coordinating and optimizing ship handling operations. You will work under the authority of the Operations Manager and in close collaboration with the teams on the ground to ensure efficient and smooth management of port operations.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
- Higher education in international trade, transport, or logistics.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar position.
- Good knowledge of port and maritime operations.
- Proficiency in office tools (Excel, Word, Internet, Outlook) and OSCAR and MASC3 planning software.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
