YOUR ROLE

 

In this role as Solution Design & Performance Manager you will take charge of the process of logistics and transportation studies for the FVL (Finished Vehicle Logistics) perimeter to ensure they are completed on time, with efficiency and innovation. In this role you can manage, develop and supervise the back office team to support the business interest of the FVL NL Operational Departments.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

  • You will be using the best business practices & knowledge, initiate and prepare RFQ & tender requests for the FVL NL entity

 

  • You will participate in the research, preparation and development of investment projects.

 

  • You will maintain links with various service providers and suppliers, to ensure the company's response has both market viability and is competitive – Prepare to present and defend findings

 

  • You will be responsible to coordinate and support the financial budgeting for the FVL NL organisation

 

  • You will manage the back office team to cover financial and business reporting for the NL organisation (KPIs, reporting, administration, invoicing & SSC contact, claims management etc)

 

  • You will ensure strong day to day support for the FVL NL site operational team & for the wider BNL organization

 

  • You will keep a technical and documentary watch on the company's processes, equipment & assets, to ensure best use & modernity through relevant and managed KPI and reporting

 

  • You will prepare negotiations with short-listed suppliers in line with objectives, defining negotiation methods (face-to-face, e-procurement) whilst remaining inline with BNL procurement guidance and Corporate rules

 

  • You will be involved in contract conditions: price, quality, lead time, volume; to ensure support to the NL Operational & BNL BD and Legal Department, draw up the contract (framework or partnership contract) where necessary

 

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

  • You have experience in costing, tender management or having experience in solution design is a plus
  • You have a good understanding of logistics/supply chain at a practical level.
  • You are a good communicator and influencer (at all levels - down, lateral and up)
  • You have Financial/P&L understanding.
  • You are a team player and are able to manage multiple & diverse tasks in a good way (keeping control.) 
  • You are open to learn and be involved in exciting projects
  • You have an analytical & inquisitive mindset
  • Having project management skills is a plus
  • You are a Dutch speaker with a good knowledge of English
