YOUR ROLE

As the Warehouse Supervisor you will ensure smooth & efficient operational activities of the warehouse in order to meet and exceed customer expectations. You will oversee warehouse operations and the allocation of workload to relevant employees in line with requirements and business needs.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• To ensure the efficient and effective achievement of all operational targets and key performance indicators, through the efficient allocation of resources.
• Oversee all MHE equipment is checked on a shift by shift basis ensuring compliance with defect reporting procedures when necessary
• Monitor all picking and receiving activities within clients system to ensure compliance with contractual KPI’s.
• Record & maintain responsibility lateness and absenteeism and to take appropriate action within levels of authority.
• Ensure that customer requirements are fulfilled to the highest possible standards at all times.
• Attend any developmental training as required in compliance with the Companies commitment to Investors in People standard.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Previous experience gained in a similar role, overseeing a team of warehouse employees.
• Counter balance & reach truck license.
• Experience in loading and unloading commercial vehicles.
• Ability to work under pressure with excellent communication skills.
