Related to the development of our Finished Vehicles Logistics department in Central & Eastern Europe, CEVA Logistics Romania is currently looking for a Project Management Officer – Finished Vehicles Logistics. The location can be Bucharest, Pitesti/Mioveni, Craiova. 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Project Management

  • Collaborates with Cluster Project Manager and project team members in project management. Supports project managers in the practical application of project methodology.
  • Collaborates on the introduction of project management within the Eastern Europe and DECH geo-region.
  • Supports project culture, knowledge and skills of project team members.
  • Provides internal and external training to increase the knowledge and skills of project team members.
  • Consolidates reports from projects and creates comprehensive reports for management.
  • He / She is directly responsible for leading selected projects and project tasks.
  • Identifies and evaluates potential optimizations within current business (profitability, productivity, savings) and added value.
  • Calculates the profit margin using available data and estimates forecasted costs.
  • Mobilizes internal parties’ impact by project(s) around achieving shared objectives and sets up internal deadline for answering project in compliance with client schedule.
  • Defines and builds adjacent presentation for the conceived logistic scheme and adapts the sales offer to customer needs.
  • Developed communication skills both internal (mainly with project team) and external (client, top management).

 

Business development support in the region:

  • Actively seeks new business opportunities in the market in cooperation with local FVL director.
  • Participates in building price offers.
  • Communicates with all departments involved in the project.
  • Participates in launching operational activities for new / existing customers.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

  • Experience in the automotive / finished vehicles transport and logistics field & project management
  • University degree
  • Strong knowledge in using practical tools and methods in project management, experience in resource planning.
  • Excellent management of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and knowledge of Visio, Project, Access would be a plus.
  • Very good level of English, any other foreign language will be an advantage.
  • Very good organizer, with the ability to follow up tight deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, negotiation and persuading skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, to show initiative and to implement changes.
  • Availability for business trips in the country and abroad.
