YOUR ROLE

Related to the development of the ground transport department in Bucharest Operational Agency (hybrid work), CEVA Logistics Romania is currently looking for a Road / Ground Transport Dispatcher – LTL/FTL Transport.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Collects and analyses customer's orders;
  • Finds the right solutions in a timely manner;
  • Calculates rates, routes and transit times;
  • Stays in a continuous dialogue with customers to understand their needs and expectations;
  • Organises the transports in the best manner for the company and client;
  • Follows up ongoing transports, making sure the delivery is made on time and all problems are solved with promptitude;
  • Updates customer regularly;
  • Negotiates and buys transport services with the best quality/gain-ratio;
  • Insures the relation and the information flow from and to the carriers/drivers;
  • Manages the reporting of his/her activity;
  • Manages the relation with suppliers/providers in a spirit of long-term collaboration and confidence-building.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience on a similar position, in a freight forwarding or transportation company, or in a transport/logistics department;
  • Experience on Non-EU countries transportation and customs clearance procedures would be an advantage;
  • Experience in working with different TMS (own system and/or client`s dedicated systems);
  • Highly customer-oriented (internal and external);
  • Knowledge of the freight transport market;
  • Experience in working with big industrial customers;
  • Abilities of communication and negotiations;
  • Autonomy, organization, precision, logic and rigor;
  • Agility and flexibility, team spirit and mutual support, initiative and proactivity;
  • Fluency in English, any other foreign language can be an advantage.
