Related to the development of our Regional Solution Design and Pricing department in DECEE region (Central & East Europe), CEVA Logistics is currently looking for a Regional Solution Design and Pricing Rail specialist for multimodal projects – Ground & Rail activity, in  Poland - POZNAŃ.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Solution Design & Project Management:

  • Assesses the technical, commercial, and CEVA financial feasibility of the needs and requirements of a client.
  • Proposes the multimodal solution, which is most closely matched to client needs, bearing all constraints in mind.
  • Identifying and estimating the contractual risks of the proposed project from geographic, industrial, and legal standpoints.
  • Knowledge of Central East Europe rail infrastructure, frequently used corridors, 2PL rail suppliers, technical specificities.
  • Calculates costs of a multimodal solution resulting from various business scenarios and assesses return on investment.
  • Identifies and evaluates potential optimizations within current business (profitability, productivity, savings) and added value.
  • Calculates the profit margin using available data and estimates forecasted costs.
  • Mobilizes internal parties’ impact by project(s) around achieving shared objectives and sets up internal deadline for answering project in compliance with client schedule.
  • Defines and builds adjacent presentation for the conceived logistic scheme and adapts the sales offer to customer needs.
  • Developed communication skills both internal (mainly with project team) and external (client, top management).

 

Controlling and reporting:

  • Knowledge, needed for activity reporting, performance measurement and tender monitoring.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in the rail transports & logistics field.
  • Degree in Transport / Logistics or Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge related to cost calculation (direct, indirect, standard costs), in the multimodal transport field.
  • Excellent management of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Very good level of English, any other foreign language will be an advantage.
  • Very good organizer, with the ability to follow up tight deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and to show initiative.
