YOUR ROLE

To replace an employee, we are looking for a Customer Service Employee for our control tower in Nijmegen. In the role of Customer Service Employee, you are in contact with the customer every day. The client is a global high-tech player, specialized in raw materials. From our office in Nijmegen, we supply all worldwide customers for this customer. In your role, you will have to deal with different cultures and people. Because you work together intensively and really try to help them, you build a strong customer relationship. Your challenge is to handle all incoming requests, questions and complaints. These come in by e-mail, telephone and from video calls with the customer.

 

You certainly don't solve problems alone! You work together with your 12 other Customer Service colleagues and have a lot of contact with colleagues from the transport departments and other CEVA locations. The Customer Service team is characterized as close-knit and personal, the spirit of 'hard work and laughter hard' is central to this. It is a team with different nationalities, with English being the main language. As a Customer Service Employee, you report to the Office Supervisor.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

As a Customer Service Employee , you will:

·      Answering emails and phone calls;

·      Monitor orders and ensure that set KPIs are achieved

·      Get started with questions, challenges, and requests;

·      Issuing transport requests

·      Compiling reports and presenting them to the client(s);

·      Optimising the service level towards the customer;

·      A lot of consultations with other departments, actually you never sit still!



 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You can move well with the customer and the hustle and bustle. You can turn unpleasant situations around and you seek out your colleagues if you need a different insight.

And also not unimportant: you are a nice colleague who also calls in between the hustle and bustle with a nice joke or to hear how it is.

These skills are required:

·      Proficiency in Dutch and English at a professional level;

·      Working with Excel (Pivots running, V-Lookup, mainly to make a lot of analyses and check data)

·      Switching between ad hoc work and research. There are often multiple tasks and questions running at the same time.

·      Mbo/hbo working and thinking level.
