This is a Monday to Friday role, 06:00-14:30 with flexibility needed to work overtime if required.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Reporting to the Warehouse Controller, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a small team of warehouse colleagues, fairly allocating tasks to ensure all operational requirements are met. You will foster a culture of engagement and high performance, ensuring team members are fully trained to provide cover during holidays, sickness, or absence, while also supporting their personal development.
You will monitor and record absence and lateness, taking appropriate action when necessary, and assign suitable colleagues to maintain and repair MHE, escalating issues when required.
In this role, you will build and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, with a clear focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence. You will ensure the efficient delivery of all operational targets and key performance indicators, consistently meeting customer requirements to the highest possible standard.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar warehousing or stock-based role, ideally within a warehouse or 3PL environment, along with some previous team-leading experience. You will need to be resilient, motivated, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, using your initiative to resolve challenges as they arise.
