YOUR ROLE

 

Our Air Freight team based in Dublin, Ireland have an exciting opportunity for an AOG Operator where you will specialise in providing outstanding customer service and administration support across our air freight and hub operations across Ireland.

 

The shift pattern for this role will consist of 12-hours shifts, working 2 days one week and 5 days the following week.

 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

Reporting into the Aerospace Operations Manager you will be responsible for the successful execution of customer shipments. You will be responsible for receiving customer bookings, preparing shipments and relevant documentation, tracking the shipment until it reaches its destination, and keeping the customer informed of all milestones.

 

You will maintain close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders providing customer service and operational excellence solutions in relation to individual shipping queries or delays, highlighting critical problems to management. You will complete all customs and MAWB documentation.

 

You will manage and maintain relevant systems and documentation ensuring files are invoiced accurately, records are updated, and all transaction adhere to company, HMRC and Government regulations.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

Our ideal candidate must come from an air freight import or export background. Experience gained in an AOG role is desirable. You will be determined, focused, and go extra mile for our customers. Experience of liaising with multiple stakeholders and customers is essential to ensuring we maintain our high standard of service.

 

You will be a strong communicator with high levels of attention to detail. Due to the fast-paced environment prioritisation ability is essential, you will have a strong supportive team around you but will also need to be confident working alone.
