Who We Are
At CEVA Logistics, we believe that growth and success stem from the dedication and enthusiasm of our team members. We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Financial Accounting Professional to contribute to the success of our Financial Accounting Team based in Assago, (MI), Italy.
Your Role at CEVA
- Prepare statutory financial statements and support month-end closing processes, ensuring deadlines are met and making necessary corrections and adjustments.
- Manage tax deadlines and ensure compliance in collaboration with external tax advisors (VAT, Income Tax).
- Demonstrate knowledge of ITA GAAP and IFRS.
- Support colleagues as a senior team member during monthly closing processes and help complete various accounting and administrative tasks.
- Lead the creation of process descriptions and process maps for our team routines and assist in improving and rolling out automated procedures.
- Assist in coordinating external audits and internal information requests, ensuring compliance with local regulatory and tax regulations.
- Take a leading role in structuring and enhancing our accounting policies and internal controls to meet group standards.
- Participate in the implementation and development of software and tools.
Basic Qualifications
- 2-3 years of professional experience in a similar role, supported by relevant education/experience as an auditor in a Big 4 firm.
- Strong analytical and data processing skills.
- Deep knowledge of national and international accounting principles.
- Proficiency in double-entry book keeping/reconciliations and experience in tax management and accounting.
- Excellent command of the English language and strong communication skills.
- Willingness to take ownership and responsibility for projects and tasks.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience using ERP systems (Oracle JDE is a plus).
