YOUR ROLE

 

The Import Supervisor will oversee all aspects of our import operations, ensuring the efficient and compliant flow of goods across borders. You will manage a team of import staff, collaborate with vendors and customs authorities, and implement strategies to streamline the import process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in import/export regulations, customs compliance, and logistics management.

 

This is a Monday – Friday role.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

  • Supervise and guide a team of import staff, providing training, support, and performance feedback.
  • Oversee the coordination and execution of the importation process, including managing documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all import regulations and customs requirements. Keep up to date with changes in international trade laws and ensure accurate import duties and taxes are applied.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, shipping companies, and customs brokers to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.
  • Address any issues or delays in the import process, working closely with internal teams and external partners to find quick solutions.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

  • Previous experience gained in an import role
  • Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs laws, and shipping procedures.
  • Proven experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organistional and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.
