For our BPE area (Business Process Excellence) in the Hamburg region or in Frankfurt (Germany), we are looking for an Expert in Process Engineering (m/f/d) for Warehouse Processes.

 

 

YOUR FUTURE ROLE:

 

  • Introduction and maintenance of CEVA's operational standards and coordination with site management
  • Analyzing material flow and production performance and deriving opportunities for improvement
  • Performance measurements of teams in the execution of processes
  • Processing complex tasks in design, evaluation, problem solving, analysis and planning to support logistics activities
  • Analysis and warehouse planning, replanning and layout planning to improve profitability, performance, quality and reliability and support operational goals
  • Work closely with cross-functional and international departments to develop and implement solutions
  • Driving and implementing improvement concepts at all levels
  • Support the development of a BPE community within the sector to ensure an active exchange of best practice models & innovations
  • Playing a key role in shaping cultural change - implementing fact-based decisions

 

THAT'S WHAT WE WANT:

 

  • University or university of applied sciences degree or comparable training with a focus on logistics
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the logistics industry, preferably in contract logistics
  • Knowledge and practical experience in the Lean & Continuous Improvement context (Kaizen, TPS)
  • Experience in writing work instructions and quality documents 
  •  User knowledge of improvement methods, engineering standards, time studies and direct and indirect performance and planning tools, with an eye for innovation
  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English
  • Good analysis skills of logistics processes and logistics data to derive relevant improvement processes
  • Very good MS Office user skills (development or programming skills and a general affinity for IT applications such as MS Access or Visual Basic are desirable)
  • High willingness to travel regularly within Germany
