For our location in Hamburg we are looking for a Tender Professional Ocean Freight (m/f/d) as soon as possible.

 

YOUR FUTHER ROLL:

 

 

  • You will be responsible for the management and coordination of external ocean freight tenders for our customers.
  • You will coordinate the entire tender process from internal structuring and launch to timely submission and evaluation of results.
  • You will support and work closely with sales and account owners throughout the tender process.
  • You will be involved in the evaluation and calculation of competitive price and service details through active collaboration with Procurement. You will also conduct direct negotiations with service providers.
  • You will support the inertantional network and collaborate with colleagues as part of the global tender team.
  • You are responsible for analysing competitiveness and success rate by creating tender statistics.

 

THAT'S WHAT WE WANT:

 

 

  • You have completed a commercial apprenticeship in freight forwarding and logistics services and/or a relevant degree.
  • You have already gained several years of experience in the sea freight sector.
  • You have a high level of resilience and the ability to work under deadline pressure.
  • You have very good analytical thinking skills.
  • You have an affinity for working with complex tariff structures and have extensive knowledge of MS Excel.
  • You communicate fluently in German and English.
  • You have a high degree of initiative as well as a strong customer and success orientation.
