Are you known for your solution design skills? Are you passionate about managing programs to ensure sales and business targets are achieved?  If so, we have an opportunity that would allow you to lead and manage all aspects of solutions design operation.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
 

  • Manages staff to include recruiting, hiring, training and developing staff and outlining and addressing performance.
  • Assists with developing and aligning strategies and programs to manage the overall solutions design, quality, and business alignment.
  • Assists with managing expectations of leaders and manages expectations of managers, staff and operations, facilitates communication and business requirements, and establishes performance metrics.
  • Manages programs to gather and measure current and future state, and training feedback; administers more complex requirements and integrates results into future programs.  
  • Develops and implements programs to achieve desired future state and operational results, aligns leadership and resources required, and ensure effective implementation and administration.     
  • Resolves escalated or sensitive operational problems or conflicts; works with internal and external resources to resolve conflicts.    
  • Assists with meetings and develops communications to provide feedback to teams on priorities and experiences for integration into operations; typically more complex or sensitive in nature.
  • Develops solutions, engineered programs, and related areas that are more complex in nature; assists leadership in working with functional groups to develop proposals.
  • Develops internal or customer presentations to secure relationships, approval and business; tend to be more comprehensive and complex in nature.
  • Works to understand principles and practices of key operations, hubs, products, and methods of business to understand critical internal requirements.
  • Develops relationships with internal customers, which may include meeting and interacting with internal and external customers/agencies and ensuring other channels for feedback. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field required, or equivalent education and experience. MBA or related Master’s Degree preferred. Typically at least ten years of progressive experience, including four years of specialized or complex work.
     
  • Skills: Understanding of solutions design and related sales program development and implementation.
  • Developing, reviewing and verifying overall and a variety of engineering, operational and related reports and metrics.
  • Applying comprehensive and various solutions design management principles and practices.
  •   Demonstrated skills in organization group process, problem identification and resolution at a functional level.
  • Reading, analyzing, and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Understanding of strategic initiatives that achieved success in a similar matrix environment.
  • Applying project management methodologies with a focus on managing solutions and plans to achieve goals.
  • Understanding of organization group process, problem identification and resolution at both a strategic and functional levels.
  • Writing reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals, and related documentation.
  • Presenting information and responding to questions from management, employees, and customers.
  • Facilitating meetings and delivering communications. 
  • Planning, time management and organization skills.
  • Collaboration, decision making, presentation and negotiating skills.
  • Characteristics: Demonstrated success in leading, managing and developing staff and high performance teams. Experience in strategic planning and execution. Demonstrated skills in organization group process, problem identification and resolution.
