CEVA Freight LLC in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Global Architecture Expert.

 

YOUR ROLE

 

Support compliance to usage of Operational systems and respective enhancements.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

· Work within an agile team of engineers and operations personnel to build highly resilient, scalable, and performant platforms in an on-premises cloud infrastructure in an automated and efficient manner.

· Build foundational systems and reliable platform solutions in on-premises cloud infrastructure.

· Bridge gap between software and hardware.

· Enable application developers to put software into the hands of users in an easier manner.

· Work as part of the core platform engineering team and be accountable for mission-critical platforms assigned to an individual.

· Supervise a team of platform engineers.

· Develop deep expertise in any one technical area and grow as subject matter expert.

· Provide expert-level guidance and support on a rotational basis to troubleshoot issues.

· Integrate, configure, deploy, and manage centrally provided common cloud services (e.g., monitoring, logging).

· Ensure compliance with centrally defined Security Standards.

· Engage in engineering activities to implement upgrades/patches as required.

· Build/improve solutions to enable automated application deployments.

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

Education and Experience

 

· Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science or related field of study.

· Five (5) years of experience as a Cloud Administrator or VMWare Administrator or Platform Engineer building and managing enterprise platforms, including three (3) years working in the global supply chain/logistics industry.

· Must pass technical interview

 

Must have req 537463 on application.
