AIR OPERATIONS MANAGER SLOVENIA
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Manage the national department of Air Operations - managing the performance of specialists and motivating the team
- Be responsible for achieving budget figures for Airfreight business in Slovenia, preparing forecasts and budgets data
- Manage the key customer relationships with primary deliverables focused on organic/new business growth and retention of business
- Support the Air & Ocean Product Head by implementing national programs and carrying out the required analyses
- Participate in reviews with the Air & Ocean Product Head, other managers to identify areas for improvement, review KPIs, and improve overall service quality - ensures KPIs are met down to team level - acts as a trainer for specialists
- Be responsible for the Operations department, but also for cooperation with other functions to ensure smooth operation of the processes related to the client maintaining and developing long-term relationships with key customers and subcontractors (carriers)
- Collaborate with the Air & Ocean Head to set goals for the country's operational business plan parameters, product portfolio
- Provide Air customer service teams daily guidance and support on all matters related to operations, communication, revenue growth, standardization of procedures, system applications and process execution - helping in team management and retention of talents in the organization
- Identify training needs and development opportunities for a highly qualified Operations team
- Act as an escalation point for customers and other parties
- Monitor the performance of the subcontractors / vendors and suggesting improvement steps
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Min. 10 years of experience in Air operations in International Freight Forwarding Company
- Min. 5 years working experience in people management and monitoring, reporting and analysing results
- Ability and readiness to adapt to new business environment
- Advanced English - written and spoken
- High sense of responsibility and accuracy, ability to persuade
- Initiative and innovative attitude towards work and processes’ optimization
- Logical thinking, open-mindedness
- Ability to work in a team, excellent communication skills
