WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? 

• Oversees all the transport activity with own trucks
• Conducts regular activity reviews
• Controls the consistency of the transport (legislation)
• Analyses data to monitor performance and plans improvements
• Implements and monitors indicators of respect of planning’s
• Establishes or develops operational procedures to increase performance of transport
• Negotiats / analyses transport prices / km (internal sales / purchasing) 
• Adapts transportation means to ensure an optimized transportation plan
• Plans the use of means of transport for the sake of productivity and compliance with standards, legislation
• Plans and prepares annual budget for the 2PL activity, scheduls expenditures, analyzes variances and initiates corrective actions
• Internal cooperation with operations teams
• Ensurs all partners in the supply chain are working effectively and efficiently to ensure smooth operations
• Manages staff / driver training issues
• Responsible for checking the conditions of trucks

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

• Certification of competency in managing transport of goods by road (licence)
• English – fluently
• Good knowledge of the transportation logistics and automotive industry
• Experience in the automotive logistics
• An analytic mind and good numeracy skills
• Ability to appraise and use IT packages and electronic communication methods
• Tact, diplomacy and calmness, especially when dealing with customers / suppliers /
• Driving licence B
• MS Office, ERP system
• Good people management and coordination skills
• Good intuition to make crucial judgment calls
