Job Purpose

• Accountable to develop and implement strategy for Solution Design and collaborate with business development to execute and ensure cost competitiveness in solution and attractive pricing proposal to drive the profitable new business on Ground and Rail services
• Collaborate with key Ground stakeholders to enhance existing business profitability and achieve Pricing target for country,
• Work closely with Business Development teams to drive Pricing strategy and improve hit rate while providing high quality and competitive tender responses to customers.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage the solution design process on Ground & Rail services (design, costing, risk mitigation, proposal, and sign-off) including cost model and price proposal to present solution to the client and/or internal stakeholders
• Collaborate with BD team to support on new business tender/RFQ to design the innovative and competitive solution of CEVA’s Ground & Rail Services in CEVA proposal and presentation
• Lead of business solution process, including identify customer requirement and design solution, cost model and pricing, as well as preparing on solutions proposal and presentation of Ground & Rails value preposition to customer 
• Work closely with Procurement to ensure robust and competitive pricing for new businesses and renewals (cost modelling, pricing intelligence, tender qualification)
• Respond to RFIs, RFQs and tenders including transactional enquiries in timely manner as customer requirement.
• Follow up on proposals, run post-mortem analysis and maintain centralized database.
• Analyze underperforming contracts based on profit, yield, volume, and freight mix metrices and propose action plans
• Reduce revenue leakage by defining strategy for general rate increases, accessorial applications, FSC, and rebates mechanisms.
• Build analytical models and perform analysis on contracts, transactional and operational data to support fact-based decisions.
• Monitor the results of Pricing actions by evaluating performance in relation to target, budget and actual margin impacts.
• Implement of existing and new global Pricing tools and methods in the country

Knowledge, Experience & Skills 

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or similar

Experience

• 3-5 years of working experience in logistics and supply chain, consulting, and/or manufacturing
• Relevant working experience in transport/business analytics

Specialist Knowledge & Skills

• Warehousing, transport, supply chain design, industrial engineering, manufacturing
• Understanding of transportation systems, warehousing systems, financial modeling, and integrated logistics
• Strong working knowledge of MS office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
• Understanding of financial concepts, financial management and commercial sense
• Demonstrated success in developing Pricing solutions
• Project management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Interpersonal & Communication Skills

• Able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Able to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team, which reflects in strong engagement / presentation skills
• Ambition to learn and grow knowledge of solutions design
• Can-do’ mentality and positive attitude
