YOUR ROLE

 

Our commercial finance team have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and data driven Finance Business Analyst to join their team. Reporting into the Finance Business Partner you will support operations, assisting with the production of weekly accounts, financial KPIs and the continuous development of financial cost models against client portfolios.

 

Monday – Friday 40 hours per week offering a hybrid working approach.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

  • Produce the annual budget with the assistant of the Business Analyst and operational management on site.
  • Approve weekly management accounts, ensuring that checks are conducted, and the result is agreed with the Finance Business Partner.
  • Improve profitability within the portfolio by challenging KPI performance with the account director / sites.
  • Production of client KPI’s and reporting for monthly / quarterly meetings.
  • Provide insightful and accurate information to all users of the Finance Performance Reports.
  • Ensure invoices are raising accurately in a timely manner.
  • Involvement in renewals and ICAP presentations for contracts.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

Our ideal candidate will have proven management accounts and financial reporting experience, ideally within a customer facing role. You will be highly numerate with the ability to analyse and interpret complex financial data whilst identifying trends with the ability to positively influence decisions when needed.

 

You will be an excellent communicator able to explain complex issues and information to financial and non-financial colleagues. You will have experience using financial SAP systems, be a logical thinker and natural problem solver.

 

Being CIMA or ACCA qualified would be desirable, however not essential.
