YOUR ROLE

 

Our amazing Learning and Development Team, who sit within our Talent function, have an exciting and rare opportunity for a Learning and Development Facilitator where you will collaborate with the L&D Manager and our business to define, scope, design, and deliver outstanding development solutions to our colleagues.

 

This pivotal role will see you using best in class behavioural and durable skills learning methods and frameworks to ensure all learning solutions have the learner at the heart of the design, build and implementation, therefore you will be a practiced and skilled learning and development specialist, experienced in a range of blended learning initiatives and solutions.  

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

Reporting into the L&D Manager, your main areas of focus and accountability will be:

 

  • Deliver a full range of blended learning initiatives from learning needs analysis, design, delivery, deployment and evaluation.
  • Ensure all design and evaluation objectives meet the needs of business strategies and learning goals.
  • Collaborate with the business and subject matter experts to create market leading learning solutions.
  • Ensure feedback and post-course evaluations are captured, understood and measurable to drive improvements and quality.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key internal stakeholder groups and external providers.
  • Embrace a culture of continuous improvement, keeping up to date with external learning trends.
  • Develop innovative ideas through effective research aligning to the business and L&D strategy.
  • Act as an advocate for learning across the business, recommending the best learning solutions that meet business needs, skill gaps and cost effectiveness.
  • Support with ad-hoc projects as and when required.

 

This role will require you to travel across the UK, Ireland and our Nordic countries to deliver effective and relevant training, therefore, you must have a flexible approach to working location.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

To be successful in your application you will have proven facilitation skills, delivering to a face to face and virtual audience. You will be practiced in defining, designing and delivering learning requirements, recommending solutions through blended learning that not only meets the needs of the business but also aligns to the Talent and L&D strategy. You will have a curious mindset exploring and implementing new learning solutions, with a constant eye on continuous improvement and innovative resolutions.     

 

It goes without saying that you will be a natural communicator, collaborator and problem solver, capable of building outstanding working relationships creating a platform for open and honest conversation. This role will see you working with a remote team; therefore, you will be disciplined in meeting individual and team deadlines, changing objectives and capable of self-management.

 

It would be desirable, however not essential if you have insights practitioner accreditation or hold CIPD certification in learning and development.
