YOUR ROLE

Are you looking to build a successful career in the logistics and transportation industry? The Ocean Freight Degree Apprentice role is an exciting opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience while working towards a degree in supply chain management. This isn’t just any job – it's an opportunity to ride the waves of global trade and make a real splash in the logistics industry!

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

You’ll get a sea of opportunities for career growth and development. Navigate the word of ocean freight operations and deep dive into imports, exports, customs and AOS (advanced ocean services). You will steer cargo to its destination, overcoming challenges and ensuring timely delivery and cast your net wide building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Stay ahead of the tide by ensuring your GCSEs & A-Levels are on point! In order to be accepted onto the apprenticeship, you must have achieved a minimum of 2 GCSE’s grade C/4 or above in Maths and English and have a minimum of 3 A Levels, equivalent to 96 UCAS points. 

This Degree Apprenticeship is suited to someone who has a desire to learn, excellent communication skills and a passion for logistics. It is essential you have anchored your IT skills for smooth sailing ahead!
