We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance manager where you will oversee the day-to-day management of the Audit and Quality Support team. Within this pivotal role you will ensure a seamless provision of service as the work stream lead for various project requirements for new or existing business contracts where you will drive quality and audit best practice approaches to drive operational and customer service excellence.




Reporting into the Head of HSEQ you will offer expert advice on quality compliance, with an emphasis on specialised areas such as healthcare. You will maintain the HSEQ management system, providing relevant guidance on technical elements of legislation and best practice. Develop and execute technology solutions to enhance efficiency and data security, driving performance improvement and managing the audit program across the UK, Ireland, and the Nordics. You will work closely with wider functional and operational teams on new business implementation projects, attending kick off meetings, acting as a workstream lead and collaborating with the Regional HSE Support Partners through to successful go live of new business wins.


Day to day you will manage and upskill the Quality & Audit Support Partners where you will create a passionate, engaging, and high-performance team, ensuring all take a proactive approach to value add services, best practice approaches and offering solutions to the business. You will also be responsible for monthly metric data therefore you will need to be comfortable working with and analysing complex information designed to drive efficiency and ongoing improvement to performance.


This is a Monday to Friday, hybrid role that will see you travelling to core operations, working from our head office in Ashby de la Zouch and from home, therefore you and your team will need to take a flexible approach to working location dependant on organisaitonal need.




To be successful in your application, you will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of developing and maintaining integrated quality management systems and have comprehensive knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO standards and HSEQ disciplines. You will also be an accredited Responsible Person with proven experience of healthcare regulatory compliance and experienced in GMP and GDP environments. 


You will have excellent people skills, with the ability to influence and engage with senior stakeholders where you will manage multiple priorities and project requirements, you will also have proven people management experience, capable of injecting an engaging and high-performance culture fostering collaboration and cooperation with wider functions.


Experience of working within healthcare or pharmaceutical environment would be ideal, however experience gained within a third-party logistics, automotive or aviation industry would also be of interest.


Desirable certifications and qualifications

  • ISO 13485 Lead Auditor
  • ISO 9001
  • Working knowledge of process and computer systems
