YOUR ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity for a UKIN Security Manager where you will be aligned to our Contract Logistics product, maintaining integrity and safety across our logistics operations ensuring security protocols, compliance, loss prevention, investigations, projects and new business support are effectively managed.
This pivotal role will see you collaborating with a range of stakeholders across the UK, Ireland and Nordics, therefore you must be comfortable with regular travel.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Reporting into the Head of Security for Europe, you will lead the implementation and management of security strategies, ensuring security legislations are followed in accordance with security and GDPR rules and regulations. You will liaise with sites to ensure compliance, fire protection and dangerous goods processes are followed by developing and monitoring controls and systems, conducting assessments to define, analyse and design processes to eliminate potential risks.
You will manage and maintain security service contracts and supplier management from manned guarding to security maintenance and ensure the correct level of security is sustained across all operations in line with client contracts, conduct site-based security audits with agreed actions plans and control investigations liaising with appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
You will proactively improve and develop security tools, methodologies, security site audits and policies and procedures and provide regular security and compliance updates and communications and deliver security and compliance training to a wide range of stakeholders.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our ideal candidate will have a proven background in security and compliance management, ideally within a logistics or warehousing environment. You will have proven experience of conducting investigations, security audits, site risk assessments, site security implementations and possess knowledge of fire protection and dangerous goods processes.
You will be able to demonstrable experience of building and developing exceptional internal and external relationships, be a strong report writer and possess excellent statistical investigative skills. You will be a skilled decision maker, negotiator and influencer who is able to interact and engage with colleagues at all levels.
