YOUR ROLE

 

CEVA has been chosen as a preferred outsourcing partner to manage a fully integrated, transformational 3PL fulfilment operation within a flagship purpose-built facility at East Midlands Gateway, increasing our ecommerce offering.

 

This fast-paced environment embraces automation and operational best practices. It will provide essential Logistics services such as inbound & outbound customer fulfilment and value-added services, as well as utilising an approved network of transport providers.

 

We have an opportunity for a Warehouse Coordinator where you will support Shift Managers in daily operational activities whilst coordinating a team of warehouse operatives ensuring the movement of goods are carried out in an efficient and effective way,

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

Reporting into the Shift Manager you will promote a positive health and safety culture by ensuring regulations and processes are adhered to across the operation and that incidents are investigated and followed up within a timely manner. You will proactively drive a culture of continuous improvement whilst ensuring work is allocated and carried out to a high standard. You will monitor and report on attendance and performance in collaboration with the Shift Manager, ensure colleagues attend daily briefing meetings and that sufficient labour is planned and utilised across the operation and that colleagues are appropriately trained.

 

We are looking for two Warehouse Coordinators who will need to commit to Monday to Friday-  5:45 AM - 2:15 PM or Monday to Friday - 1:45 PM to 10:15 PM.

 

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience and understanding of a warehousing operations, ideally within a 3PL environment. You will have experience of coordinating and leading a team of operatives and a strong understanding of warehouse management systems.

 

You will possess excellent communication and engagement skills, able to build strong relationships with operational teams and the client. You will be IT literate able to create KPI and Performance related reports for management.
