YOUR ROLE

 

Our Bollore customs team based in Liverpool have an exciting opportunity for a customer centric Customs Coordinator where you will support with customs clearances for our air, ocean and road freight customers.

 

This pivotal role will see you working a 40-hour week Monday to Friday.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

Reporting into the Customs Manager you will work across a diverse team where you will ensure all customs clearances are actioned on goods entering the UK. You will utilise Cargowise, Destin8 and CNS systems to claim inventory links to add to the customs entry, ensuring a high level of attention to detail and accuracy is maintained to prevent any errors or oversights on documentation.

This role will require regular communication and engagement with the customers, so you’ll need to build and maintain first-class, long-lasting relationships with them and be on hand to support at each stage of the process.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

  • Proven customs clearance or imports experience would be ideal.
  • Previous experience of working within a freight forwarding operation.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Able to build strong customer relationships.
  • IT Literate experience in using MS packages.
  • Proven experience of Cargowise would be desirable.
  • Natural problem-solving skills.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Team Player.
