YOUR ROLE
Are you interested in managing the implementation of large scale and cross- functional projects across the Global IT organization?
If so, we have the opportunity to join our IT Corporate Solutions Department at CEVA Logistics as our Senior IT Project Manager.
This role is open in Madrid and Barcelona, Spain and Lisbon, Portugal.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- You manage overall coordination of the project/portfolio management-oriented work efforts. You will program portfolio budgets on average greater than > 5 million dollar initiatives
- You will coordinate work performed by IT staff and internal customers/business partners by defining project requirements, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments
- You will direct implementation and execution of standard PM methodologies across the project portfolio.
- You work with Senior leaders establishes goals and operating plans for the department and operates within budget parameters.
- You drive new technology initiatives from “idea” to implementation including; development of business case through post-mortem reviews and ROI reconciliations.
- You manage team(s) through subordinate managers in complex technology areas. Plan and provide opportunities for continuous training to keep the resources aligned on state-of-the-art technology and trends
- You identify and address project risks and issues proactively
- You find efficient & pragmatic solutions to blockers and help establish agile processes within our teams while being able to use both Waterfall and Agile methodologies driving projects.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- You have a University or Master Degree in IT or Business, or equivalent experience
- You are fluent in English and fluent in French is a plus
- You are highly skilled in Project Management and can manage highly complex projects and to prioritize competing interests across business functions
- You have 15+ years of implementation and delivery services, preferable for large complex projects and customers
- You have excellent stakeholder management, verbal and written communication skills.
- You use the best practices and methodologies to ensure demand management and planning, projects portfolio management and support for customers are met.
- You have expert understanding of business functional and operating needs in highly complex environments.
- You have experience in customer budget and proposal management
- Having knowledge of PMM, Top Class solution design, and specialized products for key customers is a plus. Being ITIL or PMI certified is a plus
- You have influence skills to gain commitment from others and foster collaboration
- You have outstanding communication skills, both oral and written
- You are culturally and politically aware at all times, read the room and use the right type of approach with the right type of stakeholder.
- You have leadership and influence capability to create a unified and motivated project team.
