Your role

The Global Third-Party Due Diligence Manager drives both the strategic direction and operational execution of one of the company’s most critical safeguards for integrity: ensuring that we live up to our commitment to engage only with vendors and partners who share our integrity standards and our zero tolerance for corruption. Reporting to the Global Director Regulatory Compliance and working in close collaboration with the Global Director Trade Compliance, the Global Anti-Corruption Internal Controls Manager, Procurement, Regional Compliance Directors, Anti-Corruption Counsels, and local compliance officers, the manager is responsible for governing, deploying, and continuously improving the global third-party due diligence framework. This includes supporting the first and second lines of defense in its consistent application and directly executing selected checks and controls in complex or high-risk matters. The role safeguards the company’s reputation while enabling safe, sustainable, and efficient business growth, by driving consistency, effectiveness, and the speed to market required by the business in all third-party engagement.

What are you going to do 

1. Govern and continuously improve the global third-party due diligence framework, policies, and tools, updating them in light of evolving risk assessments, regulatory expectations, audit findings, and the operational realities of global supply chains.

Deploy and drive the consistent application of third-party due diligence controls across the group, driving operational excellence in screening, beneficial ownership identification, risk scoring, enhanced due diligence, and the timely escalation and documentation of red flags.

2. Design and update third-party due diligence controls, in coordination with the Global Anti-Corruption Internal Controls Manager, to embed them within the company’s system of internal controls and keep them auditable, adequate, and up to date in light of evolving risks.

3. Drive the consistent application of third-party due diligence controls across the group, achieving operational excellence in screening, beneficial ownership identification, risk scoring, enhanced due diligence, and the timely escalation and documentation of red flags.

4. Act as a trusted SME for third-party risk, providing practical advice to business stakeholders (first line of defense), promoting business ownership of third-party risk decisions, and making due diligence outcomes understandable and meaningful from a commercial perspective.

5. Deliver training, guidance, and matter support to Regional Compliance Directors, Regional Anti-Corruption Counsels, local compliance officers (second line of defense), and business users to secure consistent, effective, and timely application of the due diligence framework across geographies. This includes working cross-functionally with procurement, HR, supply chain, operations, and legal stakeholders to embed due diligence into daily decision-making.

6. Facilitate access to processes and documentation for Internal Audit and other assurance functions (third line of defense), supporting effective independent testing of the due diligence program.

7. Collaborate with the Risk, Data Analytics and Reporting Manager through regular reporting on due diligence activities and by providing insights on emerging patterns, outliers, and trends to inform enterprise-wide risk management.

8. Partner with the Global Director Trade Compliance to integrate third-party due diligence processes addressing both anti-corruption and trade compliance risks, with each function supporting the other in its respective area of expertise.

9. Execute risk-based due diligence reviews of high-risk third parties and lead appropriate escalation, remediation, and documentation of red flags, focusing on complex or sensitive matters while maintaining turnaround times that support business efficiency and speed to market.

10. Monitor adherence to due diligence standards, conduct periodic portfolio reviews, and report on findings and trends to senior compliance leadership, while maintaining oversight of due diligence providers and technology solutions to drive continuous assurance and improvement.

What we are looking for 

Experience : The role requires strong expertise in third-party due diligence, anti-corruption compliance, or vendor risk management, ideally gained in a global organization with complex supply chains such as logistics, energy, or pharmaceuticals. Candidates should bring at least 7–10 years of relevant experience in compliance, legal, audit, or risk management, with proven ability to govern frameworks and execute reviews of complex or high-risk matters. Experience collaborating with procurement, supply chain, or trade compliance teams is highly valued, as is the ability to balance rigor with operational efficiency. Strong analytical skills and familiarity with due diligence tools and data solutions are essential, along with the ability to translate findings into insights for senior management. The role also requires excellent communication and training capabilities, cultural sensitivity for global stakeholder engagement, and the confidence to act as a trusted advisor at all levels of the business.
