DATA FACTORY PLATFORM HEAD

 

Based in France (Marseille or Puteaux).

 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

The Data Platform Head will join the Global IT Data and Digital organization at CEVA Logistics within the Global CIO organization and will report to the Global IT Data & Digital Leader.

 

This role operates in complex decision-making environments impacting the CEVA enterprise, works with senior management from IT, Corporate Support Functions, Business Development and Operations to ensure the best possible global solutions are available for our customers and CEVA employees alike.

 

The Data Platform Head will operate in the context of the set of the new Global Cloud Data Platform of CEVA and will contribute to its set up, implementation and built up of the internal operational teams.

 

Main missions:

 

  • The Data Platform Head is responsible for all platform deliveries from the requirements reception phase to production and support. He must put in place measures and ensure that the means in place enable the objectives set are achieved.
  • Responsible to define and ensure the evolution of the CDP following the axes defined by CEVA management which are essentially around the industrialization and reliability of the platform: reliability of data ingestions and pipelines, observability of data, alerting, notifications and communications) as well as the speed of implementation of new data domains and products (“Time to Market”).
  • Responsible for the management of the resources and experts assigned to the CDP, as well as ensure the growth and development of internal teams to secure internal knowledge built up and manage external vendors and partners supplying services and softwares.
  • Manage the Data Platform product roadmap definition and implementation jointly with the Platform owner and business stakeholders.

 

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

 

  • At least 10 years of professional experience with proven results in project management, technical-functional and managerial aspects.
  • Mandatory technical-functional experience, skills and knowledge of Big Data, Data Lake and cloud-based technologies (preferably AWS and SnowFlake) and capability to understand modern data architecture models.
  • Extensive experience in management and coordination of activities (tools, processes, best practices, risks management).
  • Good computer skills, and the use of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Strong experience and understanding of current data technologies, data-oriented architecture and advanced analytics.
  • Managerial and leadership skills.
  • Strategic vision and operational execution capabilities.
  • Very good communication and coordination skills.
  • Resistance to stress, rigor, analytical thinking, delivery and service oriented.
  • Diplomacy, sense of dialogue and persuasion to move issues forward.
  • Open-mindedness and strength of proposal to contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Fluent English and proven practice.
