YOUR ROLE

The procurement IT lead buyer is responsible for leading and managing all commercial, contractual and supplier management activities relating to the supply of goods and services from external Suppliers on a certain IT scope.

The category is Hardware & Infrastructure which consists of Telecom, Network, internet links, cloud, storage, laptops, printers handscanners etc.. Total spend value is 100M$ / year. CEVA has grown very rapidly with multiple acquisitions and has a need for rationalization and cost reduction. The global IT lead buyer will have a key role to support that exercise.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Define category strategies with the team at global level and lead implementation of global procurement strategies through CEVA group
• Foster the cooperation between Global, Regional and Local organization, and ensure adherence to global strategies and processes
• Conduct needs analysis, supplier sourcing and market intelligence on his/her own perimeter
• Act as prime interface of internal stakeholders as well as purchasing region to understand needs and communicate about deals negotiated
• Manage tendering process, supplier selection and contract negotiation for global panel in line with the costs and performance objectives.
• Lead global deal implementation with the support of procurement regions and countries
• Communicate regularly on ongoing and future global actions
• Contribute to procurement performance and monitor this performance through dedicated reports
• Monitor at global level suppliers’ performance using appropriate metrics and tools and leading to improvement plan with the suppliers
   

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• University degree
• Minimum 5 years in procurement with experience on IT categories.
• Result driven, accurate, organisation and presentation skills
• Fluent in English, strong and persuasive communication skills. Fast learner

Desirable

• Experience as a lead buyer on hardware, infra and telecom categories.
• Expertise in Procurement Category management for the logistic industry. Change management skills.
• Comfortable within large matrix organisations
