YOUR MISSION:
You will join the Group Middle Office department within the Finance Division in Marseille, made up of a team of 10 people responsible for monitoring cash management, debt, and market operations. You will contribute to controlling and analyzing financing transactions, as well as monitoring the Group’s debt, and will work closely with the front and back office teams.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
You will contribute to the following main activities:
- Monitoring financing operations, bank syndications, and covenants:
- Analysis of legal documentation
- Creation and monitoring of repayment schedules, controls, and TMS entries
- Monitoring the transaction lifecycle (drawdowns, margin adjustments, syndication changes, monitoring call options, etc.)
- Mapping and management of financial and operational covenants
- Monitoring debt baskets related to bond covenants
- Acting as an interface with Treasury, Consolidation, Business Plan, and Insurance teams
- Managing contractual banking communication and acting as a liaison with lenders throughout the lifecycle of transactions
- Producing reporting on debt and financial commitments (debt projections, bank files, etc.)
- Analyzing and monitoring intragroup flows and positions (current accounts, TMA, intragroup loans)
- Analyzing banking profitability and implementing a RAROC tool
- Conducting ad hoc analyses and preparing reports for the Front Office and management
- Contributing to projects impacting the department (process improvement, automation, IT system evolution, etc.)
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
You have a postgraduate degree from a business school, engineering school, or university, specializing in finance, management, or a related field, and you have at least five years of experience in a banking Middle Office or external audit.
You have strong skills in understanding complex financial models and legal documentation.
You are highly proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
An interest in developing IT tools (VBA, database setup) would be a plus.
You are autonomous, proactive, and rigorous, with strong analytical and synthesis skills. You know how to prioritize tasks and enjoy working as part of a team.
You are fluent in French and English.
