OCC Manager

This new activity enables us to offer a comprehensive range of services, thus reenforcing our strategic position with our global customers.

 

Already equipped with a fleet of 4x long-haul aircraft ( 1 x A330-200F and 3 x B777F), CMA CGM AIR CARGO is on an ambitious mission to continue to grow its current fleet with the acquisition of new freighters.

CMA CGM AIR CARGO has already confirmed orders for 4x Airbus A350 freighters and will become the world’s first airline to launch and operate this state of the art cargo aircraft.

CMA CGM AIR CARGO is looking for an Operations Control Center (OCC) Manager.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the OCC team to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and operational performance within its scope,

  • Define, deploy, and update operational procedures to manage the execution of the flight schedule and proactively anticipate, manage, and reduce the impact of operational irregularities,

  • Maintain a balance between on-time performance, customer service, and commercial objectives,

  • Oversee the execution of aeropolitical matters in the operational domain (overflight permits, takeoff and landing, ops specs, etc.) both in the long term (IATA season) and on a daily basis,

  • Lead the OCC team in achieving its performance objectives,

  • Collaborate with all relevant departments to optimize operational efficiency,

  • Train and supervise OCC personnel to ensure their performance and development,

  • Manage training requirements and ensure regulatory compliance,

  • Support crisis management by developing and testing the Emergency Response Plan,

  • Identify and implement cost reductions after stakeholder validation,

  • Prepare the department's annual budget and ensure its execution,

  • Evaluate operational systems and recommend replacement solutions if necessary,

  • Organize quarterly reviews to align KPIs and interfunctional synergies.

 

PROFILE :

  • University degree or engineering background in aeronautics or operations management.

  • Ability to lead, motivate, and empower a team through effective and open communication, excellent leadership, and regular performance feedback.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, problem-solving ability, and capacity to work under pressure.

  • Proficiency in English.

 

CONTRACT:

  • Permanent contract.

  • Based in Marseille (potential travel between Marseille and CDG).
