YOUR ROLE
CEVA Logistics is seeking a proactive, hands-on Learning & Development Specialist to join our Talent team in Truganina, VIC.
In this role, you will coordinate mandatory compliance training, maintain training records, and deliver both standard and bespoke learning interventions across the Pacific (Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji). You will also support training and communication around key employee lifecycle processes—including Performance Management Reviews (PMR) and other HR generalist initiatives—to ensure a seamless and engaging experience for our people.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Plan, design, and deliver training programmes (classroom-based, virtual, and blended), ensuring mandatory compliance and alignment with business needs
- Integrate effective instructional methodologies (e.g. eLearning, experiential learning) to engage diverse audiences and cater to various learning styles
- Partner with internal stakeholders to conduct training needs analyses (TNA) and tailor interventions that enhance skill development and performance outcomes
- Coordinate talent initiatives across Pacific, ensuring alignment with local strategic objectives and global standards
- Oversee the end-to-end L&D project lifecycle, including scoping, planning, execution, and post-implementation review
- Provide system training on goal-setting, objective development, and KPI tracking to support employees during PMR cycles
- Offer coaching and guidance on performance management best practices, as well as support other HR generalist initiatives that contribute to employee engagement
- Oversee training records and compliance documentation, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and accurate reporting
- Maintain and update global compliance training materials to reflect current industry regulations and internal policies
- Identify and implement process improvements to ensure training solutions are effective, competency-based, and customer-focused
- Measure and analyse the impact of learning interventions (e.g. via feedback surveys and performance metrics) to drive continuous improvement and demonstrate return on investment (ROI).
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our ideal candidate has significant, proven success in delivering training across a diverse workforce, including both operational teams and professional staff, together with:
- Certificate IV in Training and Education (or equivalent)
- Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating end-to-end learning solutions (including competency-based programmes)
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems and advanced Excel skills
- Ability to facilitate training effectively via face-to-face sessions (classroom principles) and virtual platforms (e.g. Microsoft Teams)
- Strong understanding of cognitive learning styles, instructional design principles, and emerging L&D trends (e.g. gamification, microlearning)
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across all levels of the organisation
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), planning, and organisational skills, with a meticulous eye for detail.
In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
