YOUR ROLE

Lead North America’s rating and billing activities and initiate actions to improve timeliness and accuracy with an ultimate goal of maximizing profitability, minimizing expense, and reduction of losses. Work involves identifying, developing, and administering new auditing systems and establishing measurement standards for performance. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core value

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Provide leadership and direction to the rating and billing staff and, in collaboration with colleagues and staff manage strategy and process enhancement.
  • Identify and develop measurement standards for the improvement of performance and operational effectiveness. Identify and respond to station billing and rating needs in order to increase customer satisfaction and ensure effective work processes.
  • Manage corporate and field rating and billing process to ensure uniformity and measurable results.
  • Develop training and ensure staff is adequately trained for excellent customer service to both inside and outside customers and identify any other training needs such as systems training, time management training, invoice processing and procedure training. Monitor training activities in order to produce measurable results.
  • Conduct regular meetings with staff to assess overall status, ideas for improvement and to inform staff of new developments.
  • Metrics on specific documentation not available (by branch) on Doc Vision must be escalated to senior mgmt.
  • Monitor posting status reports, unbilled reports to drive invoice posting throughout the month to ensure timely processing according to company invoicing guideline and reduce OR.
  • Monitor invoice corrections report – perform root cause analysis to permanently resolve issue. Provide communications regarding analysis to staff to ensure fixes to processes are followed
  • Support, promote, and motivate employee performance by providing proactive attention to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews for direct reports. Address all performance issues promptly and directly in accordance with personnel policies. Manage employee expectations and set goals for performance improvement.
  • Keep abreast of emerging technology changes and innovations through formal or informal study, reading business and professional publications, networking, and participation in professional organizations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Logistics, Finance, or Business Administration preferred
  • Minimum five years supervisory or managerial experience
  • Minimum ten years industry experience preferred. 
  • Knowledgeable to U.S. GAAP principles, Sarbanes Oxley and other regulatory reporting requirements
  • Basic understanding of financial management (P&L, balance sheet, forecasting, and budgets) functions.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
