CEVA Logistics US, Inc. in Newport Beach, CA (Hybrid Work Schedule) seeks a Principal, Database Design and Admin.  

 

YOUR ROLE 

 

Administer and support SQL Server databases in a complex global data center environment. 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? 

 

Provide prompt 7x24 on-call Database Administrator support for mission critical applications.  

Lead deployments, projects, and work closely with project teams to architect solutions for long term scalability of Shared Service SQL database environments.  

Involved in large-scale data center migration deployments which require off-hour support.  

Provide technical design and troubleshooting efforts as appropriate to ensure optimal system database performance.  

Perform capacity management at all levels of database hardware infrastructure (CPU, Disk 1/0, Memory, Network, etc.).  

Document standards and best practices for all aspects of SQL Server.  

Work with various offshore and onsite support vendors as appropriate. 

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR? 

Education and Experience 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field of study.  

  • Five (5) years' experience in design and administration of computer database in/for supply chain or logistics industry. 

 

Offered Salary: $141,780.00
