YOUR ROLE
For our warehouse location in Nieuwegein, we are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor. In this managerial role, you will be responsible for the logistics process of two clients. With the support of three Assistant Supervisors, you will manage a team of 35 employees and ensure that safety standards, quality, and productivity are met. You play a crucial role in successfully executing planned orders and achieving the required results, which directly contributes to the satisfaction of our customers!
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you plan, coordinate, and control the warehouse activities needed for processing order flows. You receive a monthly order forecast from the clients, on which you plan the resources. Additionally, you manage KPIs such as quality, productivity, and on-time outbound processing. You monitor the results, identify deviations, and investigate them to provide substantiation and solutions.
The team you lead consists of experienced employees and new colleagues. This creates a mix of people who provide stability and show ambition, bringing both opportunities and challenges, such as the potential for development and the prevention of absenteeism. Together with your manager, the Contract Manager, you work to align the operation as closely as possible with the client and vice versa. You keep each other informed of what is happening in the operation and with the clients, to bring the right focus and be successful in the service.
You are also responsible for:
- Coordinating with the Operations Managers and employment agencies for scaling up or down personnel.
- Working according to LEAN principles, the 5S concept, and actively seeking process improvements through Kaizens.
- Performing HR-related management tasks such as sickness prevention and absenteeism and performance reviews.
- Keeping administrative tasks such as reports, KPIs, skill matrix up to date and reporting them to the Contract Manager.
- Identifying potential within the team and providing training, coaching, and development for promotion within CEVA Logistics.
The clients under your responsibility are industrial clients for whom we deliver parts worldwide. Your working hours are from Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00.

Additionally, we are looking for the following knowledge and experience:
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in a logistics environment.
- Fluent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
- Knowledge of warehousing and automated information systems.
- Knowledge of procedures and processes within a warehouse.

CEVA Logistics is a leading international logistics service provider. In the Benelux region, we have 54 locations where approximately 7,000 employees contribute to our success daily. We have 1.3 million m2 of warehouse space for Contract Logistics and e-Commerce Business. The warehouse location in Nieuwegein is a multi-user site. Besides the two industrial clients, there is also a retail client and a client with building materials. The warehouse has an area of 31,000 m2 and employs approximately 200 people. We are particularly proud of our BREAAM certificate, which we achieved thanks to, among other things, the 9000 solar panels, LED lighting, and the moss wall in the warehouse. A second classification is the CEVA Showcase status we achieved in 2024, meeting the highest standards we know within CEVA Logistics.

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will receive the following from us:
- A gross monthly salary between €2,994.46 - €4,145.96 and 8% holiday pay (starting salary depending on experience).
- A one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent position.
