YOUR ROLE

 

Are you a qualified Driver looking for full-time, permanent work that offers guaranteed hours, no weekend work, immaculate vehicles and a worthwhile salary? If so, then look no further as our Driver roles in Daventry are perfect for you!

 

This role will see you starting from 05:00 making deliveries all across the Midlands and ocasionally across the London area. You can expect to make approximately 6 drops per route delivering fully palletised products to a variety of our high-profile customer contract sites.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

This role involves a combination of manual handling and the use of a forklift truck (FLT) to load and unload vehicles at our customer sites. Your primary responsibilities will include:

 

  • Loading and Unloading: Efficiently and safely using the FLT to handle goods, ensuring all items are securely loaded and unloaded.
  • Manual Handling: Performing some manual handling tasks as required, adhering to safety guidelines and best practices.
  • Paperwork Management: Ensuring all delivery and collection paperwork is accurately completed and handed over to the appropriate personnel.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conducting routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition and reporting any issues promptly.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

To be successful within this role, you will:

  • Hold an in-date Class 2 license
  • Have no more than 6 points
  • Hold a full CPC qualification and Tachograph card
  • Have a positive and determined attitude 

 

It also would be desirable for the successful candidate to hold a FLT license however this is not essential.
