YOUR ROLE

 

Are you a natural leader with a knack for logistics? If so, come and join our dynamic team in Corby Max Park as a Warehouse Shift Supervisor and help us keep things running smoothly!

 

Our operation based in Corby are recruiting for a Warehouse Shift Supervisor to coordinate and manage the day-to-day operational activities for the warehousing team. You will be responsible for leading and coordinating warehouse shift teams in order to ensure all customer requirements and operational targets are fulfilled to the highest standard.

 

This role is Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:30  shift pattern.

 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

Reporting into the Operations Shift Manager, you will coordinate the allocation of work to your colleagues in the warehouse, making sure the operation runs efficiently and all operational requirements are met. You will also be responsible for ensuring that there is well-trained cover available for any sickness and/or holidays within the team and monitor and record any lateness or absenteeism, taking appropriate action to escalate issues where necessary.

 

Other duties within the role will involve:

 

  • Completing monthly audits
  • Delivering monthly face to face 121’s with each member of your team
  • Completing shift briefs to your team on daily basis in order to highlight any safety updates or concerns
  • Ensuring that all colleagues are working productively, following the correct Work Instructions and performance management is carried out to the highest standard
  • Ensuring colleagues adhere to Health and Safety regulations and the standards are always achieved on site.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

For this position, we are looking for an individual who comes from a fast-paced warehousing environment with previous experience controlling and managing a team. You will need to be resilient, motivated and hold the ability to be able to use your initiative to solve problems.

 

It is also super important that the successful candidate is an excellent communicator (both written and verbally) and has previous experience interrogating and operating WMS systems.
