Are you interested in inventory management? Do you want to use your analytical skills for process improvements? And do you prefer a job with growth opportunities towards Engineering or other departments? Then the position of Inventory Specialist is perfect for you, especially if you are just starting your career!

YOUR ROLE

As Inventory Specialist, your goal is to maintain the customer's inventory in order. LEAN is our philosophy, and you will analyze how the processes within inventory management can be further improved. You act as an advisor and initiator to your manager and the operational supervisors, when it comes to the way we store our inventory. Your role is to bridge the gap between the data in the Warehouse Management System and the actual operations. You will strategically assess the opportunities and bottlenecks in inventory management. This assessment will be the starting point for improvement projects that you will complete with the

operation and another colleague with the same role. The collective goal is to make the operation more efficient, where you play a signaling and initiating role!

You will work closely with the warehouse operation and supervision, which means you will also put on your work shoes and be present in the warehouse. It's a dynamic environment where you serve as a point of contact for both colleagues and the customer. Your working hours can be flexibly scheduled within office hours (between 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM). However, the operation itself is open from 06:00 AM to 00:00 AM.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

You will be part of the Operations Support team for a fashion client at our warehouse location in Roosendaal. Your manager is the Operations Support Manager, and you will have close contact with various internal departments and colleagues, such as Warehouse Supervisors, the Operations Manager, and, of course, your colleagues from the Inventory Control team. This way, you can turn daily obstacles into long-term and structural solutions. Your analyses will be based on historical data, predictive data from the customer and pragmatic observations.

As an Inventory Specialist, you will work on:

· Monitoring and analyzing order flows using, for example, the ABC analysis. If there are any anomalies or deviations, you will inform the customer and/or colleagues so that appropriate actions can be taken.

· Identifying and contributing to the structural resolution of issues within the warehouse to drive productivities and efficient storage of products.

· Preparing the long-term (6-12 months) (re)organization of goods in the warehouse.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You enjoy optimizing processes in a large logistics environment. You are skilled in accurately processing, analyzing, and monitoring data, whereby you can translate this data into pragmatic and realistic improvement proposals. Moreover, you have no problem communicating with both colleagues and external parties. You are also stress-resistant and have a mindset that focuses on continuous improvement. Specifically, you bring the following knowledge and experience:

· Proficient in English

· Strong proficiency in numerical databases (Excel and WMS system), you will perform many analyses based on data dumps.

· Familiarity with the ABC analysis.

· Bachelor's (HBO) degree level of education.

· Work experience is less relevant, as starters are very welcome!

WHAT DO WE OFFER YOU?

At CEVA Logistics, there are ample opportunities to bring out the best in yourself and your career. Besides a dynamic environment where we achieve our goals together rapidly and result-oriented, we offer a position that allows room for enjoyment and connection. This role can be the first step towards a broad career path within our organization. The possibilities to chart your own course are endless!

Additionally, we offer:

· A competitive salary ranging from € 2.316,40 to € 3.373,76 depending on your experience and educational level.

· A one-year contract with the possibility of a permanent contract.

· 30 days of leave and the option to sell or buy additional leave.

· Profit sharing of up to 3% for positive company results.

· Good pension scheme, travel allowance, and 8% holiday pay.
