CEVA Freight LLC seeks Global Sector Sales Manager

 

YOUR ROLE

 

Develop new business, resolve freight and logistics problems, and present innovative and beneficial solutions to large Multinational Corporations (MNCs).

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

  • Demonstrate and provide confidence to high-value clients regarding Company’s business technology expertise, including input to their supply chain and business strategy and impeccable execution.
  • Develop qualified opportunities that leverage Company’s competitive advantage, scale, efficiencies, and existing Trade Routes from end to end (‘contact to contract’) together with the relevant Cluster Business units (Profit & Loss owners).
  • Own and drive MNC account growth: make comprehensive development plans and improve plans on a regular basis.
  • Obtain buy-in and approval for the execution of the account plans by working through and with Business Development sector leaders and executive sponsors.
  • Manage Profit & Loss, operating margin, and accounts receivable from a global to cluster level across business lines to ensure customer obligations are met by both Company and the customer to the discipline of the commercial arrangements in place.
  • Manage the investment proposal, ICAP preparation (global foreign exchange, credit, and brokerage services) and Return on Investment considerations for new ventures and work through cluster Managing Directors or designates to hold all Company business and operational units accountable to approved levels of commitment.
  • Develop input for Company’s annual budget cycle from approved account plans and take responsibility for the delivery of the related targets for Company’s and customers’ benefit.
  • Develop plans to ensure the retention of current global business levels with specified accounts, preferably to a no bid level of confidence; conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with MNC clients; lead the development and implementation of specific account plans for MNCs, including relationship building, key people coverage plans, opportunity prioritization, overall account strategy, and a budget or target for business growth and development.
  • Lead complex negotiations with MNC customers, ensuring the involvement and participation of Company in compliance to applicable geographical legal procedures.
  • Identify local sales and operations contacts in Company for supporting accounts and guide Business Development sector leaders and cluster leaders to ensure they are properly informed and trained on the strategy and status of each individual account.
  • Build and strengthen relationships at “C”/executive level with MNC clients to ensure relationships are developed at all relevant levels and geographies in the client organization by involving the Company’s global team.
  • Provide regular reports, briefings, presentations, and reviews as required within Company, including to the executive board, especially on progress, strategy, execution, and satisfaction of MNC and high-value customers.

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

Education and Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management or a related field of study plus three (3) years in Sales and Business Management including experience with freight and logistics development strategies, Sales KPIs, Global trade routes for air, ocean, and ground shipping, P&L management, supply chain solutions and warehousing management.

 

  • 10% domestic and 15% international travel.
