YOUR ROLE
The Inside Sales´ mission is to generate sales with active customers, and develop opportunities with new and potential customers within assigned area, mainly through the phone with spot and low volume clients.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Prospection and Business Development
- Identify and prospect the commercial market opportunities and follow up on the customers in order to develop and monitor the customer’s performance.
- Sell the Group Product and services and advise customers on specific transport modalities (Reefer, Out of Gauge…) in compliance with the pricing policy.
- Receive, qualify in priority customers’ requests, in function of their strategic importance, and process their request.
- Follow up the Budget on weekly basis to direct the efforts whenever necessary.
- Increase the pipeline for the company by exploring new ways to develop business through different communication channels.
- Look for customer reactivation by receiving and follow up the Lost Business report from sales support.
- Participate in commercial events and develop a professional network within her/his commercial area.
- Follow up customer’s feedback on quotation.
- Maintain and increase regular clients’ businesses.
- Assist customers to obtain credit limits and/or to use your own insurance for shipments.
- Maintain and manage customers database updated.
Quotation Process
- Process quotation requests with all detailed information needed and according to Group’s requirements.
- Follow up quotation with Pricing Department.
- Forward quotations to customer and promptly respond their questions providing all information and support necessary in order to generate business.
- Receive renegotiation report from pricing and get customer’s acceptance or renegotiating whenever necessary.
Customer Relationship
- Develop and keep relationship with customers.
- Inform customer about our corporate tools (on-line booking, Invoice and Cte download, etc).
- To provide support to customer in relation to business issues whenever necessary.
- Keep customer database updated in CRM.
- Assist finance team on solving disputes, whenever required.
- Inform our procedures, all costs involved and financial conditions before client’ first shipment.
- Provide and keep customer informed regarding our financial, operation and documentation contacts.
- Assist customer service to solve operation problems, whenever required or necessary.
Interface and alignment with internal departments about customers’ needs.
- Continuous alignment with Trade department.
- Keep Commercial Manager informed about client’s pipeline, new shipment volumes and main points of attention of the business.
- Inform Customer Service and Operation team regarding new customers, routes, volumes, contacts and/or any special attention needed.
- To provide correct contacts to financial and documentation team in order to send all advises on time and to the appropriate person within client’s organization.
- Always keep E-cargo database updated.
- Continuous alignment with Customer Service in order to ensure they are properly attending customers’ needs.
Commercial analysis and reports.
- Participate in establishing the Commercial action plan and Ensure the right customer's segmentation is selected in her/his area.
- Follow up KPIs , prepare reports, and take corrective actions for commercial activities whenever is necessary.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Degree: Degree Required Business Administration, Logistics, International Trade and related
- IT and System Requirements: Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Power Point
- Language: English (intermediary)
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales Support/Shipping
