Key Responsibilities:

  1. Delivery Management:

    • Assist in overseeing the timely delivery of goods while ensuring delivery schedules are met.
    • Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and address any delays.
  2. Availability for Operations:

    • Be available to support operations outside of normal working hours when required, handling urgent issues and providing solutions.
  3. Customer and Vendor Relations:

    • Maintain high levels of customer service and communicate professionally with customers and vendors.
    • Assist in resolving issues when customers or vendors do not comply with the service level agreement (SLA).
  4. Team and Communication Support:

    • Maintain regular communication with management and team members to ensure operational goals are met.
  5. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

    • Help monitor KPIs on a weekly and monthly basis to assess operational performance.
    • Assist in investigations if KPIs fail to meet the set targets or if discrepancies arise from customer feedback regarding shipments.
  6. System and Process Oversight:

    • Ensure smooth operation of the Transportation Management System (TMS) and other related systems in use.
    • Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date data within the systems.
  7. Billing and Reporting:

    • Assist in preparing monthly billing reports for clients and ensure timely submission.
    • Support the reconciliation of billing discrepancies with clients.
  8. Operational Support:

    • Perform necessary operational tasks to support the smooth running of logistics operations.
    • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving logistics or operational issues as they arise.

Requirements:

  • Education: A diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 1 to 2 years of experience in logistics, delivery operations, or a related field.
    • Basic understanding of logistics operations and delivery management.
  • Skills:
    • Strong time-management skills.
    • Good communication skills, with the ability to work professionally with customers, vendors, and team members.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Basic knowledge of logistics systems, including Transportation Management Systems (TMS), is a plus.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Working Conditions:

  • This role may occasionally require availability outside regular working hours to manage urgent operational issues.
