Key Accountabilities:

Acting as an Operation Supervisor and managing the operation task together with other team members to supervise the operation on daily basis.

Supervise/plan resources for daily activities for import and export activities
To make sure all incoming import shipments are tally with document and good condition during receiving
To make sure all outgoing export shipments are tallied with documents and good condition during outgoing

Duties:

1. Punctuality adheres.
2. Able to work in shifts / Extended hours.
3. To ensure the inbound area is free of obstacles that can result in injuries before starting work.
4. To ensure all the down line started work on time (punctuality).
5. To ensure operation running accordingly with working instructions.
6. Segregate the job for the down line to meet the given KPI.
7. To ensure the agreed receiving processes and procedures are strictly adhered to.
8. Give priority to urgent shipments and Immediately highlight to the customer if there are any discrepancies or other issues during receiving.
9. Follow up with customers via email for inbound/rework issues and with the forwarding team via email for container clearance.
10. To monitor put away & receiving productivity.
11. Check & supervise the maintenance of MHE.
12. To initiate on-the-job training among the staff all OJT should be recorded and filed.
13. To ensure the 5S concept is practiced and implemented under personal responsibility
14. To measure and monitor LEAN activity within the department Ensure ISO standards procedures are always adhered to.
15. To ensure the 5S concept is practiced and implemented under your responsibility and to facilitate and support towards Kaizen approach in the warehouse and office.
16. To support other operation functions from time to time.
