YOUR ROLE

• Oversees daily warehouse operations in the assigned functional section. 
• Prioritize functional staff redeployment to meet the overall department goals and objectives.
• Job enlargement and functional rotation is key to career development.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Establish good inventory management process and responsible for physical cycle counting process and reconciliation of inventory to ensure product availability accuracy.
• Analyses data and provides reports on inventory issues and assist with reconciliation of inventory discrepancies.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and develop recovery actions.
• Ensures compliance with established internal control procedure.
• Act as key point of contact for all inventory-related issues and escalation.
• Lead a team of inventory staff to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Manage all reports relating to inventory.
• Drive continuous improvement on inventory process.
• Liaise and advise other departments & customers on all corrective actions.
• To ensure achievement & compliance to Customer KPI.
• Attend weekly inventory meeting with customer.
• Maintains inventory records, including item inventory, bin locations, quantity at each level and expiration dates.
• Conducts regular spot-checks of inventory levels and reports findings to Operations Manager.
• Schedule and plan for the Yearly Stock counts.
• Assist in preparing for audits.
• To carry out related tasks as and when assigned by the management.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level qualification or tertiary education in Logistics & Supply Chain Management.
• A minimum of 2 years of working experience in warehousing, logistics or similar.
• Relevant experience in Cycle Count and/or Inventory management.
• Excellent Microsoft office experience, particularly in Excel spreadsheet usage.
• Proficient in SAP systems or EWM
• Strong analytical, customer relations and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interact well with all levels of employees.
