YOUR ROLE

The Shift Operations Leader, based at our site in Barton-under-Needwood, will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations. This role is crucial in maintaining operational efficiency, safety compliance and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service. This role will suit individuals looking for evening work as the role will see you working Monday – Friday 5pm – 10pm.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

As a Shift Operations Leader, you will oversee the afternoon operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and on time. You will manage the flow of materials into the Aftermarket facility, coordinating logistics and maintaining accurate inventory management.

Your role will also involve ensuring compliance with HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) standards by conducting regular inspections and audits, which will help maintain high-quality output.

You will monitor and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the site, implementing strategies to improve performance and meet customer expectations. As part of continuous improvement efforts, you will drive initiatives to identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• It is essential you have experience within the logistics or manufacturing industry.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to build stakeholder and customer relationships.
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
