  • Meet performance goals by promptly updating milestones/events and notes in our systems
  • Prepare airfreight and seafreight documents within strict timeframes before arrival for lodging
  • Address client inquiries and gather additional details/specifications related to shipments
  • Handle drawbacks, refunds, and landed costings as necessary
  • Coordinate with ACBPS, DA, and other relevant agencies as needed.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Our ideal candidate has previous experience in a customs classification role in freight forwarding together with:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Australian customs laws, regulations, and procedures governing imports and exports
  • Proficiency in preparing and managing customs documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders, clients, and customs authorities
  • Ability to interpret complex customs regulations and apply them to classification and compliance tasks
  • Familiarity with customs clearance software and digital certificate systems used in customs operations.

In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
