Ground Ops Officer

Today, we are reaffirming our values by continuing our growth through the newly created CMA CGM AIR CARGO division.
This new activity enables us to offer a comprehensive range of services, thus reenforcing our strategic position with our global customers.
Already equipped with a fleet of 4 long-haul aircraft (1 A330F and 3 B777F), CMA CGM AIR CARGO aims to continue its growth with the acquisition of 2 new Boeing B777Fs, which will be added to the fleet, with deliveries scheduled for the end of 2024 and 2025. 8 Airbus A350Fs will complete the fleet in 2026 and 2027, with CMA CGM AIR CARGO being the launch airline for this new aircraft.
RESPONSIBILITIES :

Responsible for driving and improving freighter on-time performance (OTP) in a highly challenging environment by overseeing all ramp coordination and supervision tasks performed by the Ground Handling Agent (GHA).

Monitor and evaluate the quality of services provided by the GHA in ramp activities to ensure compliance with CCAC standards.

Identify and address service deficiencies promptly and effectively.

Liaise with local ramp handling agents to maintain and enhance the quality of services provided by CCAC.

Collaborate with other CCAC departments (OCC, Maintenance, Sales, Crewing, etc.) to ensure smooth operations.

Resolve operational issues such as delays and disruptions.

Ensure timely and accurate transmission of instructions related to flight processing and activity completion.

Oversee the delivery of services at designated stations in accordance with the Standards Ground Handling Agreement (SGHAs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as monitored by CCAC tools.

Demonstrate flexibility to adapt to operational requirements and be available to travel within the CCAC network to conduct planned inspections and assessments.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and enforce CCAC processes and procedures in coordination with the OPS Excellence Manager.

Execute ad-hoc tasks as required to support various operational initiatives.

Finance: Verify supplier invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual terms.

Make day-to-day operational decisions to manage and mitigate operational safety and security risks through effective evaluation and decision-making.

Support the Ground Operations Manager in developing and implementing operational and supervisory plans.

Propose and implement internal corrective actions.

Follow up on ramp safety reports and implement corrective action plans (CAPA).

Perform any other duties that may be assigned in support of and based on the development of the Company's overall internal business strategy.
PROFILE & SKILLS :

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cargo Operations or Airline Supervision.

Occasional travel duties within our network.

In-depth knowledge of build-up and ramp operations is essential.

Detail-oriented with strong operational and adaptability skills.

Proven problem-solving and leadership abilities.
-
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
-
Fluency in both English and French is mandatory.
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
