YOUR ROLE

 

As a Field Sales Manager you will be responsible for managing the development and implementation of sales programs, policies and procedures from a functional or technical perspective.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

  • Manage staff including hiring, training, development and engagement of self and team members, evaluating performance, providing compensation recommendations, and performance management.
  • Manage or oversee the development and implementation of sales and related functional programs to achieve desired future state and operational results, align leadership and resources required, and ensure effective implementation and administration.    
  • Provide input and advice regarding developing and aligning strategies and programs to manage the sales programs, policies and procedures for the function, group or areas. 
  • Manage expectations of leaders, staff and operations, facilitate communication on customer needs and business requirements, and establish performance metrics.
  • Resolve escalated, technical or sensitive sales and operational problems or conflicts.      
  • Work to facilitate meetings and develop communications to provide feedback to teams on sales and business priorities and experiences for integration into operations.
  • Develop and manage sales or cross-functional project or program objectives, which includes proposed budgets, timelines, materials, personnel, and other project requirements, receive direction and present information to management.
  • Ensure processes and operations comply with applicable laws, rules and regulations.
  • Manage the group or area budget including allocating resources and approving expenditures under control.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

  • Min. five years of experience in sales management, including experience as a leader / manager / supervisor in a similar matrix and global environment.
  • Understanding of the development and implementation of sales programs, policies and procedures.
  • Ability to apply comprehensive sales management principles and practices.
  • Ability to apply more standard project management methodologies with a focus on implementing plans to achieve set goals.
  • Strong understanding of the interpretation of related laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Understanding of organization group process, influencing, problem identification and resolution at both strategic and functional levels.
  • Ability to supervise and provide direction to staff.
  • Knowledge of basic business administration and financial management principles.
  • Very good command of both: English and German languages.
