YOUR ROLE
As a Logistics Team Leader, you are at the heart of our logistics operation for our partner bol.com. Together with your team, you determine the success of one of the largest logistics operations in the Netherlands. In the role of Logistics Team Leader, you will successfully manage the Putaway & Picking sub-process. Your team consists of 25 to 150 Operators and 8 Team Coordinators who specialize in the process. You inspire and motivate your team to achieve goals while working constructively on the development of your people. You analyze both the process and the people within it, focusing on individual as well as team development.
You also maintain daily contact with your colleagues in the Controlroom, the traffic control tower of our warehouse. The Controlroom provides advice on volumes, ratios, and planning. You will work in two shifts and report to the Operations Manager, with the bol. Fulfillment Center in Waalwijk as your base of operations.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Managing, coaching, developing and evaluating the employees in your team;
- Leading the daily operations and responsible for achieving KPI’s and plans;
- In cooperation with your colleagues and the control room you make the right decisions for an optimal overall process;
- Optimizing the efficiency of people and resources;
- Making improvement proposals regarding the logistics process;
- Carrying out measurements, making reports and analyses;
- Conducting performance and assessment interviews, absence counseling;
- Ensuring a clean and safe working environment (lean / 5S).
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- You are a people manager by nature and have previously managed a team in a similar work environment;
- You have a higher professional education (hbo) working and thinking level;
- You are ambitious, hard working and stress resistant;
- You have at least 3 years of work experience in a dynamic work environment;
- You are an inspiring leader with an ambitious, driven mindset;
- Fulltime available and flexible in a 2-shift system;
- Good command of the English language verbally and in writing.

- A competitive salary ranging from €2.878,19 and €4.187,42 gross per month (salary scale depending on education and work experience);
